Led By Rev. Patricia Draughn
Reverend Patricia Ann Draughn is an Associate Minister at New Beech Grove Baptist Church (NBGBC), Newport News, Virginia, under the leadership of the Pastor, Rev. Dr. Williard G. Maxwell. She has served as a teacher for Adult Sunday School, New Members Class and Vacation Bible Study. Additionally, she has served as the Chaplain for the NBGBC Prayer Ministry, Advisor for the Garden of Warwick Forest Nursing Home Ministry and served as Chair-person for the Women’s Ministry. Rev. Draughn has also served as a member of Southeastern Correctional Jail Ministry, Hampton Virginia.
Rev. Draughn is presently a student at the Samuel D. Proctor School of Theology, Virginia Union University, Richmond, Virginia. She and her husband have three beautiful children and nine wonderful grandchildren.
Rev. Draughn’s favorite scripture is found in Psalm 34:1-3,“I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O’ magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.”
