Tiffany M. Boyle, Cofounder

Tiffany Boyle was born on Homestead Air Force Base in Florida and spent her early years in Miami, Florida. Tiffany moved to Newport News in 1994. She is the daughter of Wardell Boyle, a retired Air Force Master Sergeant and currently a high school teacher in Newport News, and Lois Boyle, a business owner of a court reporting firm and founder of a regional non-profit, Access Virginia. Tiffany has a younger brother, Brian Boyle, who is a mechanical engineer serving at MacDill Airforce Base. Tiffany is the mother to one loving daughter who attends a Newport News public high school. Tiffany has made it her life's work to help others through multiple avenues and to be an example to her daughter.

 

With a background in the public and private sector as both an employee and entrepreneur, Commissioner of the Revenue Tiffany Boyle brings a new approach, as well as, an extensive array of experiences.  She has been a resident of Newport News, Virginia for over 20 years where she’s held many roles to impact and help her Newport News community.

 

As Commissioner, Tiffany oversees a budget exceeding $2.5 million along with over 40 professionals providing numerous functions such as assessment of taxes, correction of assessments, defending the assessment, as well as discovery. Commissioner Tiffany Boyle’s administration began January 2018 and has implemented internal and operational policies to support core values of citizen commitment, integrity, customer service and quality, and teamwork.

She is chief executive officer of Emerge Initiatives, LLC which operates Emerge the Magazine, Emerge Radio Show, and the Emerge Awards. All geared towards showcasing, educating, and helping small businesses in the United States.
